Rice Camp, Oct 20 (noon-5pm) and 21 (11am-3pm), Chelsea MI
Come out to Tantre Farm and learn how to process wild rice using traditional methods. Drop in any time. Free of charge, all are welcome.
Basket Making Class, Nov 4 (1-4pm), Chelsea, MI
Weave your own basket from cattails or bittersweet. Or both! Students will learn a few different patterns, and then you will create a basket of your own design. $25 per student, registration is limited. Reserve your spot here.
New Year’s Day Forage Walk, Jan 1 (1:00-2:30pm), Ann Arbor MI
Join us for the annual New Year’s Plant Walk at County Farm Park in downtown Ann Arbor and start your new year off right! $15 per adult or $25 for the whole family. No limit on students so preregistration isn’t required, but if you want to pay ahead you can register here.
Herbal Medicine Cabinet Series, Feb 2, Feb 16, & March 2, (1-4pm each day) Chelsea MI
What would your medicine cabinet would look like if you replaced your over the counter stuff with herbal remedies? Now is your chance to find out! Take 1 class, 2 classes, or take all 3 and replace your OTC medicines with your own, homemade remedies. $40 per class or $100 for entire series. Reserve your spot here.
